What we collect

When you sign up for SMS updates — on our website, on a printed form at the temple, or by texting our keyword — we collect your name, your mobile number, the date and time of your consent, and the exact wording of the consent disclosure you agreed to. We also record your preferred language.

How we use it

Your mobile number is used solely to send you the temple event, festival, and service announcements you subscribed to. We do not use it for any other purpose.

Mobile information

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. All other categories of data are subject to the terms of this policy. Information may be shared only with the messaging provider that delivers the SMS on our behalf, strictly for that purpose.

Message frequency and rates

Message frequency varies, approximately 4–8 messages per month. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
